Its a great comp with solid competitors. I think they hit over 600 entries last year!

Welcome to the madness! There are a couple of homebrew clubs that meet around, New York City Homebrews Guild, Malted Barley Appreciation Society, and apparently (just found out) Brooklyn Brewsers.

Yeah, same here, I just joined and I'm from Brooklyn NY. I go to the MBAS meetings most of the time and go to every Brooklyn Brewsers meeting. Both are a lot of fun.

I've entered that comp for the past two years and got 2nd place BOS in 2011. Hoping to repeat this year, but maybe 1st place BOS!
