Grass Roots Resistance Against 3.2%

Wed Jan 18, 2012 12:13 pm

Hey everybody, thought I'd stop in and say hi. I'm a Beer lover in Utah which sometimes brings hurdles to overcome and I'm also big into anything DIY, so it's pretty surprising it took me this long to get into it (I'm actually only 22). My buddy gave me a couple extract kits for Christmas and it was fun but not quite what I was looking for so I got into All grain really quickly which since my better half's Father is a great homebrewer and her brother is pro wasn't too hard with their help. I've a got an all grain Hefe and a stout in the fermenters right now along with a mead and getting ready to do an Irish Red this weekend to be ready for St. Patrick. I have alot of experience with metal, fabrication, wiring and plumbing. I've been working as an electricians apprentice for awhile, I've also built several custom motorcycles from the ground up so I do believe a Sculpture is in the near future but I'm just starting barber school besides working full time so we will see. Anyways Looks like a great forum with a huge wealth of knowledge love the BN listen to it constantly now. Look forward to learning and sharing the addiction with you all.

G'day choppy, quite the eclectic background you've got there. You should post some pics of your bikes on here!

Sounds good to me! I'm a rookie but I try not to be an idiot haha. Hey do you know anything about the Cache Brewing Society? Is it still active? I found the website but it looks pretty darn dead.

Funny you should ask as I pretty much started it and no it's definitely not dead. We just had a huge send off party Saturday at my house for one of our members who is moving to Florida. Just have a hard time getting people to post on it. You can reach me at andrew.jensen@iconfitness.com
