new guy Lagunitas Imperial Red

Sun Aug 14, 2011 3:21 pm

I started brewing at the start of this year simply because Lagunitas stopped brewing their Imperial Red. I have brewed five or six extract batches so far. They were all good, but I'm still pretty far from my goal of making an Imperial Red that I love.
I've never joined any sort of forum before so I may be slow or disappear without intending to.

Good luck on your quest. When I increase my mash tun size I'll be doing the same thing. I luv Imperial Reds.

You could try one of Tasty's attempts of Arrogant Bastard from the Can You Brew It archives.

I actually did his Aragant Bastard clone. That was one of my better batches, but not ultimately what I'm shooting for.
