Hello from Vermont

Wed Feb 02, 2011 4:30 pm

Greetings, all. I'm new here, but I've been listening to the podcasts for a while now and figured it was time to finally join the forums. I live in Vermont, and I've been brewing for a little over 3 years, 2+ of that AG. I'm doing ~10 gallon batches on a two-tier system that I'm in the process of building/upgrading.

My current beers are:

On tap: American IPA and standard cider
Conditioning: Saison, American Barley Wine
On deck: American Pale and 60 or 70 shilling

Welcome. What part of VT? I grew up in Windsor and went to UVM. I love Burlington and try to get up there whenever I can.

I'm in Fairfax. Don't get into Burlington proper that often, but definitely a fun town. And now that I'm thinking about it, I could really use an American Flatbread fix...

I'm new to the forum and BN, but I've been brewing in Vermont for a while. I got my bucket setup at Green Mountain Boys in Rutland, and nowadays I've been going to Ludlow and South Royalton for grain and gear. I've grown up my gear to all-grain, stainless kettles, and glass fermenters with a beer fridge and corny system over the years.

I don't really know any other brewers besides the ones I've grown out of my friends. I'd love to exchange beers with someone else in the area.
