I am in Houston Texas, member of the Foam Rangers. Been brewing about 2 years now and enjoyed every batch, even though I did brew a pretty funky one once! Extract w/grain, but working on all grain. Married with a wife who does support my hobby.
I enjoy trying all beers but prefer beers that aren't too hoppy. I have been focusing on ales but looking towards lagers someday. I am a tinkerer so I have made some of my own equipment. I am designing a carboy cooler that will keep a single carboy at lager temps. Got a working design, just need to build and test.
Anyways, that is where I am now. I will let you know about my travels as I go.
