Tue Jul 18, 2006 1:24 pm

Whats up Brewing Network, EC Homebrewers checking in from the city of Philadelphia. I've been brewing with my good friend Clinton for bout 2 years now doing 10 gallon batches. We were mentor'd by some friends at GC Homebrewers in Glouchester county, NJ. Look forward to participating in some discussions around here.

Welcome/yo.

Seems like I can't throw a jelly Krimpet without hitting a Philly area homebrewer. I'm in Montco now but grew up in the Great N.E. (it makes sense if you're from Philly).

I recommend listening to the archived shows, there's some great and hilarious stuff there.

Welcome to the forum. Since you have brewed with the GC homebrew club then you buy your materials at Beercrafters. I go there every so often. They are good folks down there.

Hey thanx for the warm welcome. I'm in the Powelton Village section of the city, right next to university city. Yah it does seem there is a lot of Philly Homebrewers and we've got some great shops. Porterguy I've been listening to the shows for a while now, just havent participated in the forum. Gucci pilot, I do like going to Beercrafters they are a great bunch though I usually go to Home Sweet Homebrew since its so close to my work in center city.

I've got some Evilchurch 6-6-6 Imperial Raspberry Red Ale we brewed all grain with 6 malts, 6 adjuncts, 6 hop varieties on 06/06/06 that is waiting to be drank in the keg and some in bottles. Thats the most recent creation for any who care. Also have a Belgian Dubbel thats been aging in my closet that we've got to bottle soon.

...and for kicks here is the most off guard photo ever taken (the day we bought the first of our equipment collection) I'm on the right the other half of EC Homebrewers on the left.

and an ESB we brewed a while ago..
