College Student at EAST Tn looking for microbrew internship

Hello beer world,

I am Alex Bray, a college student in Johnson City, Tn at ETSU. I am 21, goin on 22, and i have been homebrewing like crazy, making wild recipes. Ive gotten into it so much, that i atually want to learn the microbrew process, something on the 3bbl-5bbl size system. I have been formulating a business plan on a small brewpub that focuses around wacky pizza, wacky sandwiches, and wackier beer. I want to learn the small scale brewing process, in order to be able to set out and fulfill my dream. I plan on opening my brewpub in the next 5 years around the Nashville college area (I am from there). If anyone has any suggestions or could help with information on an internship or the business itself, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hope you find what you are seeking. I graduated from ETSU in 2000 lived in JC on the tree streets for 6 years and now live in Nashville. Have you talked to the guy at Depot Street about volunteering?

hey! yeah im from the donelson area in nashville...small world. Yeah im in the state of franklin homebrew club, mike, the owner of depot st, has been hosting the meetings there as of late. unfortunately he doesn't have the "time." ive expressed that i am serious about learning, and he has a 7bbl system, which is small enough to a scale im lookin for- 5-7bbl. but i suppose i can bug him enough that he will let me....idk why he wont help me learn.
