brewer from Denmark

Hey everybody

I thought i might as well introduce myself, I've been brewing since december last year, one ekstract then straight to all grain... in your face Justin.

I'm currently @ brew #8 a rye IPA, but have planned a few new brews after listening to the jamil show. I brew around 5,5 gallons a batch. Here so far i've brewed around 50 gallons in 2006.

I just want to say thanks for some great brewing entertainment, whenever there aren't any useful information in the show, you are usually drunk and that is almost just as good. Because I'm in Denmark the sunday shows start around 2 am(my timezone) I haven't listened live yet, but the archives are great too.

Keep up the good work

Cheers

It's always fun to watch how global the BN has become. Welcome, Jens, and some early Monday morning, when you've got a case of insomnia maybe you can join us live in the chat room!

Welcome aboard, Jens! Good choice on the rye IPA. By any chance is that the Denny Conn recipe? One of the breweries there in Denmark brewed it last year. I have a batch of it ready to keg myself. One of my favorites.

Regarding taking a poke at Justin, everyone here insults everyone else, except Daniela of course, but it's all in good fun.

Hi

Yeah its denny conn's recipe I've tried. And thanks for all of the responses, and let the insults come :D

I've bought a bottle of the rye IPA the danish brewery made, but haven't tasted it yet. So many beers so little time. Last night a friend of mine and me drank 1,5 gallons of homebrew with and average ABV around 8%. I was so wasted.

Cheers and keep up the good work, cya @ the second year anniversary.

Nothing quite like getting hammered on your own homebrew. It's a very satisfying feeling (watching others get hammered on your homebrew is pretty good too though).
