New guy from boulder

Wed Jun 07, 2006 7:30 pm

Been listening to the show since last summer and finally decided to get off my lazy ass and join the community. As you can probably guess I'm a student at CU boulder and being able to brew beer does make you popular in college. Got my kit for my 21st birthday and haven't looked back since. I'm currently upgrading to all grain and am probably gonna lose my girlfriend because of it, apparently all I talk about is beer, haha.

Got a funny story to prove all I can think about is beer. Woke up one night sweating from a nightmare, in this nightmare I was transfering to a keg and when done I began to areate the wort and no matter what I tried I couldnt stop! Ahhh oxidized beer. Yes I think I have a problem but that is just fine with me.

Got a lot of great beer here in Colorado and cant wait to see you all at the GABF

Brotha!!! Welcome man. If the girl can't hang with the beer this early on, she's worthless to you anyway. Switch to all-grain, brew the beer, share with the college kids....priorities man!

Thanks for joining us.

Prost!

Welcome the the BN CUBrewer and CUBrewer GF. Its good you two can brew together. I got my wife to brew one batch with me and now she just likes drinking it. The funny thing is when I give her a new beer I made she says "Did we make that?"

What style are you guys brewing there? All grain or extract.
