yet another new guy

Tue May 23, 2006 10:30 am

Hi Guys

I'm so glad that I found the Brewing Network. How else would I have been able to stay awake during my 10hr drive to and from Disney World last week :)

I have been brewing for a little more than 8 months now and are mostly interested in German styles and brewing techniques. Especially the scientific aspect to brewing caught my attention. Being an engineer I seem to need to understand how things work ;)

Welcome Kaiser!

I found TBN on a 16hr flight to Hong Kong. Best one I ever took, except the Chinese kept staring at me every time I cracked up!!

Enjoy!

The same happened to my wife, since I listened to the show on head phones.

Hi Daniela,

Well, my actual name is Kai and I'm German as well. So when I came to the US my friends liked to make fun of me and my German heritage (Having listened to some BN shows I know that you certainly know what kind of fun). They also liked to call me Kaiser. It didn't stick as a nick name but I thought it would make a nice screen name and avatar (at least in an American brew forum;) ).
