Give me another three weeks and the priorities will be straight again ... wife switched her shift from weekend to mon-thursday and I am switching to Tues to Friday. That means that Monday will be my new Sunday and I'll be able to hang out with you :asshat: 's again!!! So looking forward to some more live session chat! .... Justin, JP, Moscow, Doc, Beevo, Tasty, Nate ... wanna get rid of me? ... I don't think I could manage Wednesday nights.

Howdy there! I am back on here after being off the forum for way too long. Just had to take a break away from hanging out here for too many hours each day. I can't make it to listen to the session at all these days. 7:00 left coast time is 9:00 here but I have to get up at 3:30 in the morning to get ready for work.

Still brewing weird shit. My carrot cake beer (a spinoff from my oatmeal raisin cookie beer) has been a huge hit. Another fun one that folks went nuts over was my sour Belgian dark strong brewed with Mandarin Quats (a cross between mandarin oranges and kumquats). My rye barleywine won a bunch of local awards and took a third place at the Kansas City regionals for NHC. Only scored a 42 in the second round so I didn't take home any medals.

I'll be around a lot more on the forum now, but I see I don't need to post as much as I used to. Lots of great brewers posting good advice now. I've watched them grow (in brewing) over the years and I'm proud of the progress they have made.

A 42 in the final round is a great score Bug! Glad to hear you are still brewing up a storm. Any chance on sharing that elusive carrot cake beer recipe?
