+1. My first brew was for SWMBO. Now she's all about it. Hop grenade on the minivan at her request. She's even talking hop tattoos. Of course it doesn't hurt that she was a beer lover long before we met.
I affectionately refer to her as beerhole when caught stealing from my glass.

Don't go into this hobby thinking you'll save a lot of money. You're focusing on the wrong thing. Do it because you like good beer.
