Brewing!!?? Who said I was brewing. Brewing is illegal in the state of Alabama. I bottle other stuff.

The bottling plant bottled a lot of favors and proprietary brands. The plant had a silk screen setup to apply labels to the bottles, but all the caps were plain, with no text or picture. They would have no collectors value (as opposed to the some of the bottles.) When Coke hit the scene, he switched to bottling Coke. It was one of the first, if not the first Coke bottling plants in Alabama. I have Coke bottles from that plant that are worth a lot of money; I even have 6 Cokes from that era with the original Coke in them) They paid 1 cent for returned bottles. My grandfather built the towns first silent movie next to the plant and all the towns kids could get in free if they turned in 2 bottles.
