Thanks to Brew Your Own

Fri Dec 15, 2006 5:51 am

I found out about these podcasts out of Brew your own mag. I have listened to a few and I like this one best. I am not a big forum poster but I thought I would pop my head in from time to time. I currently do Extract with grains and may go to all grain someday but I think my extract beers are pretty good so if it isn’t broke don't fix it right? I am poking around in the archives and listening to shows that look interesting first, then I will go through some of the other shows and see what I can pick up. So far I have listened to a show about sanitation and yeast. I think it is cool how you guys get guests who own these companies, nothing is better than getting information right from the source. I call my brewing operation "Field Brewing" because I brew in my back yard which overlooks a large field. Not too original but I like it.
Now, I just need to find myself a picture to post by my name.

I see that. Seems like a pretty laid back sort of forum. I have spent most of this morning here nosing around and posted in a few threads. It will take a little while for me to figure out who I can joke with and who can't take it. Looks like you guys pick on Justin quite a bit, just like on the show. I look forward to joining the fun. I have lurked in a few forums and some seem to be to straight laced, which can be boring. One quick question. What's the deal with that orange hat? Do you need to do something to earn the honor of getting a hat or what? Like go on and be drunk of the week or something.

 HA Mort that's great!!

Welcome Field :jnj

I don't know how you get the Jayne Hat...or asshat I guess, since Push Eject just gave up...damb

As far as who to joke with, It seems that if they can't take it they are soon "systematicly removed, like you would any termite or roach"

Once again welcome!!

Well if you want to get someone going, just tell Mort he's a fake. Or ask him about those Deer he likes to kill in herds.
Most of the bewers here seem to think they are as big as Coors and taste as good as Miller lite. But I speak of things that are bett left to the experts.

Brancid is the first guy I've ever seen try to bitter his brew by tossing young children into the boil!
