Been listening for a while and am about a year and a half and 25 odd BIAB brews in.

I figured I better jump on this fine forum, get boozed up and see if I can't learn something :drink

Welcome. You Aussies sure love that BIAB. I'm thinking of starting to use it for small batches so I can brew inside when it's 0 F'ing degrees out, like right now.

Watch out for Grod ( the down under version of Bub )

Is a good entry level technique.... Have a cooler with a false bottom in reserve for when I am ready to take the next step to multiple vessel brewing.

Later down the line I'm slowly preparing to move onto a larger more automated solution - ie. rims or herms, but I'm still trying to get my head round that one.

I'm thinking: 1st step - move to multi vessel on my single batch system, 2nd step - move to larger multi vessel for double/triple batches, 3rd step - introduce pumps and the what not (get a proper rack built), 4th step - some form of automation.
