Recipes?

Mon May 20, 2013 6:55 pm

Hey guys,

I'm still pretty new to the forum and really the website as a whole. I just can't seem to find a comprehensive list of the recipes that I hear on the shows. Are they posted somewhere or do I have to just pay really close attention to each episode (really not my style). Lazy brewer here.

Welcome-

Check out www.BeerDuJour.com
That's Fred Bonjour's web site. Follow this link:

Also, Jamil's book is a great place to start.

Finally, you can ask here and you'll find a lot of recipes.

The search function is a pretty good place to start, and also digging back through all the posts in the recipes sub-forum. We'll help you out, but there's no pile of recipes on a silver platter laying around. Silver platters are reserved for :nutters: & :asshat:

For the CYBI's, I don't think hardly any of them made it on the forums. They always spell it out in the episode though. A pencil in one hand & hover your mouse over the pause button with the other. You'll get it.

If you can't find it, and end up listening and writing, I'd encourage you to create a post in the Jamil Show board. Feel free to ask if you are looking for a specific one... chances are SOMEONE has written it down before.

Also, if you use BeerSmith, you may be able to find recipes in their forum/share area.

That technique works for a few different things, now that I think about it. :D
