Cheers From the Barbary Coast!

Wed Sep 26, 2012 6:27 pm

Hey all :bnarmy: ,

Greetings from Old San Francisco. I'm just getting my beak wet in this home brewing craft & culture. Just got an equipment kit from Seven Bridges down in Santa Cruz and going to start off with a BIAB Kit. Exciting times! Hoping to be an active member in this here community and to be enjoying and sharing the fruits of my labor in the next month or so.

Cheers,
Doctor Bubra

Thanks for the warm welcome y'all!

@gwk453 - Thanks for the Newbie pass :o but never fear, I'm sure I will not disappoint by supplying a slurry of noob questions in the next few weeks that require some blank stares.

@TheDarkSide - You're absolutely right, dippin the old beak still has me parched...time to drink 'n drown! :aaron

First question: Can anyone recommend a good ambient thermometer (digi or analog) so I can find a good spot for fermentation?

Cheers!

Dr. ....You really good!! Fermentation temp is supreme! AFTER cleanliness and sanitation! Buy what you can afford! Spiderwrangler is THE KEEPER OF THE INFORMATION and he is quite gracious to us all. Please feel free to ask anything! The search function of this forum is a great feature! Use it, too! The BN will help you brew better beer. If you want to brew microbrew quality beer and not just beer, the BN Army has a lot of brewing talent to help you! We have more opinions than Doan's has pills. Again use the search to check out thermometers and temperature control....Welcome to a good place!
