Hello from TN!

Sat Jul 11, 2015 9:18 am

Hey BN Army! I've been listening for about 2 years and brewing for 3. Finally decided to join the forums and start participating. I've got a background in Micro and Evolutionary Bio, which is what drew me to brewing. I've also done a 6 month internship at a local brewpub, which was a great experience. I've just completed my masters and now I'm looking for brewing lab/QC jobs, but until I land one, I'm trying to become a better brewer. (The joke at the brewery was I didn't have to brew good beer. My job was to keep them from brewing bad beer, lol).

I'd also like to join the BN club as well, but I can't find any info on how to participate in club competitions.

Cheers! :jnj

Welcome to the BN! You will be able to offer some valuable advice.

Right now there aren't any club competitions but you can always send samples into the Dr. Homebrew and Brewing with Style Podcasts. You should be able to search the forum to see what styles they have planned for future shows. We also do a Secret Santa Exchange starting around Thanksgiving. You can also just list the BN as your club when entering competitions. Also, when/if you have time, during live podcasts join the live chat and call in to the shows.

Cheers![BEER MUG]
