Howdy from Kentucky

I'm a complete noob to brewing, but I have read about it on the 'net. That makes me a Beer Brewing Phd. (Piled higher & deeper). Just kidding. I have been studying brewing for a couple months, reading the books, surfing, buying equipment, doing the footwork. I think I had just enough accumulated knowledge to jump in.
Picked up a Slovenian Blonde kit from GF and brewed on the 4th, airlock activity 12 hours later, really perculated for 48 hours, started slowing down this morning. Seeing a bubble every 15 seconds or so now (9:00 PM CST).
Since this beer kit has only a limited amount of fermentables, I figure that everything is on schedule.
Anyway, it's good to be on the site, and I hope to gain much knowledge and insight from you Guys and Gals. Happy brewing.
