Good Noon from Laval, Quebec

Thu Feb 13, 2014 2:58 pm

Hi everyone,

I'm a brand new homebrewer, and my first batch is currently fermenting. I've been listening to the show for a little over 8 months, starting with the archives from 2005 and slowly making my way to the more recent stuff (right now I'm at the 2006 Holiday break).

Thank you for all the informations and the entertainment.

I brewed the Cincinnati Pale Ale form How to Brew by John Palmer. I made it straight up, without any changes in ingredients or the brewing steps outlined in the recipe.

I will probably brew it again as my second batch, and I'll change just un few things in my process, like watching more carefully for boilover and preparing a bit more water for my topping off (I came a little bit short). That way I'll be able to see any improvement in my beer.
