New from Delaware

Sun Feb 02, 2014 9:45 am

Have been a wine & mead maker for over 10 years. Tried brewing several kit beers before with fair results in the past.
I am looking to learn and broaden my experience with brewing again.
Have been inspired since making a robust porter for my granddaughter's birth that was well received and came with demands for more...

Welcome. Good luck with your brewing! I look forward to your insights on mead. I have my second batch ever going right now that I'm going to blend with my first batch. I left it on vanilla too long so I want to blend it to cut the vanilla taste a bit and bring out the honey a little more.

Welcome-

The 2 biggest things to concentrate on are:
1) Sanitation
2) Temperature control
