Greetings from Homebrew Hell (Alabama)

Yes, amazingly I can read, write, and use a computer (sometimes)!

I've only been brewing for a couple of months, and it's been a lot of fun, but the lack of competitions and clubs due to the laws down here mean I have to turn to BN podcasts and forums for homebrew camaraderie, which isn't a bad thing!

Lack of clubs my ass! I live in Birmingham and belong to two very active clubs. PM me and
I'll hook you up. Lots of good brewers in town.

I feel your pain brotha.....I'm in the same boat in Mississippi!!! But like Elbone said, get with him, there are actually quite a few clubs in Al. Just have to know where to look, and who to ask.

No doubt, it's kinda painful down here in this part of the south!

Are you not able to send PMs until you reach a certain post count? Because it doesn't look like I'm able to yet.

Careful...he could be a Narc!!

Welcome and best of luck getting those bullshit laws in AL changed someday. Although I have to say the audio from the Loftus show was priceless and has provided me with hours of entertainment. If JP doesn't get a BNA this January for his performance, I call bullshit!!!
