How did you end up in Perth? I spent a month there while I was in the navy. Did you have citizenship prior to the move? Do you have it yet? Just asking... you are living a dream of mine.

Ended in Perth while my wife does her PhD in hydrometallurgy. Sold our house, cars and pretty much anything else that wouldn't fit into 8 suitcases and 8 carry-on bags and made the move with my wife, a 5 year old and a 5 month old and myself. What a long trip! :shock:

Just on a student VISA atm and can't start our attempts to become citizens (if thats the direction we decide to go) until we have fullfilled our current VISA.

My temp controller showed up yesterday so once I get that built, I'm pretty much ready for my first try at all-grain. Thinking I will do a APA for the first 3 or so batches so I can learn my system.
