New Guy in NE

Currently in Omaha, moving to KC soon. Been brewing for a few years, seriously for the last 8 months. And by serious, I mean actually researching techniques, styles, grains, yeast, and hops. Makes it that much better when you give a crap.

Welcome! I'm in Ashland but moving to Omaha soon. Guess we may miss each other.

Tell us a little about your brewing. Inquiring minds want to know. :)

Thanks guys. I excel/accel (whatever) in asshatery.

Brewing, lets see

Amber Ale (circa 2005): Tasted like Breck Avalanche
Porter (circa 2007): Was ok, nothing special.
Bock (2010): complete disaster, surprised the bottles didn't explode and take the garage with it.
Belgian Wit (2011): Partial mash, turned out really good.
Black IPA (2011): In secondary right now, tasted great out of primary. Will be pouring at the Aug 20th homebrew fest.

I've gotten to know some great guys in the Omaha area. They've really inspired me to become a better brewer. Hence now I'm here, plowing through podcasts, checking out the forum, and reading all I can.
