Official Hello from Boulder

What's up guys?

Well, I finally got some film developed, got an avatar up, and I thought I'd officially say hello. My wife (brewgirl) and I have been brewing for just less than a year and thanks to the BN and the all the other great forums and web sites around we're already brewing great beer. We are originally from Oregon and somehow didn't get into the homebrew scene until we moved to Colorado for school. I'd just like to thank everyone in the forum and the entire BN community. Everyone has been a great wealth of info and our brewing has directly improved because of the BN.

Ok, enough with the hand jobs.

At the moment I'm an Engineering student at CU Boulder and find that this school shit really cuts into my brewing time. We are 4 Brews into our all-grain career and have a couple of half way converted kegs and a turkey fryer. We haven't had the cash to get the ball valves yet so we're still using a plastic bucket for the lauder tun. I'm in the process of reverse engineering one of those sexy ass Sabco systems, but the parts all cost money. As soon as things start coming together I'll keep a good thread going and we'll build it together.

Well anyway, thanks again and keep'em bubbling,

--Brandon

P.S. Hey, could somebody hook a brotha up with a couple of Jayne hats or what?

Welcome!

Your wife brews with you, eh. Must be nice... I fight with mine to block out a good brew day! Kudos.
