Hi All! I've been homebrewing in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1998.
I did a lot of brewing from 1998-2001.
Here's an old page back from the early era:

Won an award back then for an Oatmeal Stout:

I stopped homebrewing from 2001-2003 to concentrate on music (caution! having so many great breweries in northern CA spoils you and can make you into a lazy homwbrewer!). Now that my music has slowed down, so I am homebrewing more frequently once again.
I re-energized my homebrew setup recently with a malt mill, dedicated refrigerator, O2 stone, a steel false bottom and lots of knowledge absorbed through re-reading Noonan, Daniels and Mosher. In the past couple months I've done an ESB, Belgian Wit, and an American double IPA.
I just stumbled upon this site the other day. I've been listening to the radio archives of old shows. It is an excellent way to exchange information, thanks to everyone who is working on it. Looking forward to talking with you all. Cheers,
