TBN Main page layout

Unlike my normal posts, I'm not trying to be an asshole, but, is anyone planning a redesign of the main TBN page?

If so, I would volunteer to either help design it, or at least offer my input and testing services. The current page just looks a bit cluttered, kinda like that house that your crazy uncle keeps adding rooms on to.

My understanding is there are two guys in Turkey working on it as we speak.

Just wondering...has there been more than 1 gadget from Doc? (I'm still working through the archives...) There's only the kegerator and some pics of his creations with no explanation.

It seemed like it was going to be more of a regular thing.

well caps I think origonaly justin thought this was going 2 be easy and was expecting that. The one thing he did not think about was that doc and everybody other than him at the time had real jobs. This was a fun thing on the side on the week ends now he has a part time real job and that is one thing that is getting neglected. Now maybe thats another area he needs 2 let some of us submit ideas and pics with write ups and post them on a once a month thing.

Caps, you are not mistaken... however, there was a gadget show where Doc talked through some of those other gadget (the filter wrench, the keg cleaner, etc...) last Christmas, I think...

The gadget corner thus far has been a failed expirement. When we started it, it looked like Doc would have enough time to do a monthly writeup, but that has not been the case.

i'm looking into options to resurrect it soon.

As fot the main page layout in general, with a few exceptions, I think it works pretty well as is. I am currently rebuilding the archive segment to make its use easier and searchable, and that's pretty much my top web priority at the moment, as that is where most of our inteface complaints come from. I am definitely open to suggestions though if folks have improvements they would like to see happen. So if there are specific things that should be changed, just drop me an e-mail and I'll see what I can do.

Prost!
