Yeah it was pretty rough in there last night. I've never seen it like that. I ended up just ignoring the chat for much of the evening because it was so insane.... :?

Everyone loves everyone in the chat room (taking the sexual conotations out of that statement of course) and we all kid around and poke each other in the side. Last night sucked! Folks - remember that there are new users poking around all the time - let's at least be respectful of others. I enjoy the camaraderie and the joking that happens (profanity included), but others don't. The Hennings are having issues, it has always been the theme of the users of the BN to help - let's do that, without going too over the top next time.

Just my 2 cents...opinions may vary.

I stopped chatting and took a bath and listened. I don't mind a little profanity but last night was a bit much for me.

I agree. Things got way out of hand last night. We should have never let things deteriorate to that level. I don't mind a little profanity and good natured teasing, but some of what went on last night was well beyond what most folks consider acceptable. I hope we don't lose any folks due to that.

I'm glad I got out when I did then. I would have been really pissed off. With everyone.

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

I am glad you guys are all with me on this one.
I talked to Justin about it yesteday, and I will have admin responsibilites starting next Sunday meaning, that if somebody crosses the line permanently and despite my attempts to regulate the chat keeps going and going I can just dismiss the person.... 8)

I sincerely hope we can go back to what the chat ususally is: the backbone of the show with fantastic questions, lots of fun and just a great time to hang out.

Prost
