Beer and Food Show

Sun Nov 12, 2006 8:57 pm

TBN folks,
I really enjoyed the show tonight. Aside from the general Asshatery that went on with rude behavior and disregard for "pseudo-order" in the chatroom, the content of the show was stellar. As a Chef, I really can appreciate the matching/contrast of characters between food and beverage. I hope to apply some of this insight to Cider and/or Mead pairings in the future. For all the nay and gay sayers out there you can Chupa and Flufah.

You mean it was not always like that? Last night was my first time in the chat and I was thinking the whole "this is gay" thing happened all the time. I agree, it was a good show. I enjoy pairing beer with food and cooking with beer so I got a kick out of it.

It's never like that. There is a lot of joking around but it is all good natured and quite fun. Chaos was so bad I had to put him on ignore - he was wearing me out. The show topic was great and Justin needs to keep the show diverse, we can only talk about water chemistry and yeast so many times before it gets old. If you don't like that the show subject - don't listen, but at the very least don't ruin it for the rest of us!

Justin - thanks for a great show, I wish others would have been more courteous.

I definately liked the show. It was a welcome change. It also gave me a new way for me to show off my beers. I also do a little cooking, though mostly from recipes. I don't make up my own. So this will help me with cooking at work too.

I really enjoyed the food and beer show, the enthusiasm that Sean described the recipes and how to use beer in cooking was incredible. It really made me want to start cooking right away.

keep up the good work.

Cheers

I listened to the show. I liked it real well. I usually just eat peanuts or pickled eggs with my beer. I guess it is time to try different foods with these new beers I am drinking.
