New Yorker Orders From B3 For First Time

Thu Aug 31, 2006 5:00 pm

Hey, I just wanted you to know;

First, I want to say that I always try to buy from my LHBS. Most of the time they don't have what I need or when when it comes to equiptment though. My favorite store is owned by someone from my club so that's another reason I try there first. He does try to carry the basics and above but he just can't carry everything. So, with that said..

I ordered a kegging outfit from B3 because of all the great folks I hear and because they are there for Justin, Daniela and Dr. Scott where it counts. I have to tell you, I was a little nervous because I ordered it on Sunday and hadn't heard anything accept the automated response so I called to see what was up... I didn't catch the girls name on the phone but she was very nice, very infomative and told me that it was the wine season and things were kind of crazy. She pointed me to the nice Red Lettered text on the order page saying just that (stupid consumer) and then told me it was shipping tomorrow. She also told me that JP gave me $10 off the order because I said something about TBN... Thanks JP! Your still and ass... I use to call you "Jack Ass" but now you've been upgraded.

I can't to see my kegging outfit. I have a Special Bitter waiting in the carboy that will be the first 2DogAle beer to be kegged...Sweet!!!

Cheers,

Rob

BTW - I am off on Monday this week so I'm hoping I can be drunk of the week-end!!!

That's awesome 2dog!! I'm sure you will be stoked about your kegging investment. You'll even wonder how you went without it.

Thanks so much for mentioning TheBN and supporting our sponsors. Thats sort of thing helps more than anything!

Prost to the 2dog!!

Most importantly... that $10 will go a long way toward paying for the postage to send me some beer.

Justin, the coolest thing is I know that Jon, JP and Chris know I bought my kegging outfit from them. It's like I know these guys and I'm here in NY. I'm trying to figure out how I can conn a trip out of my boss to our Oakland office so I can try to get out your way to buy you a pint or two or three...

All right push... I have a Special Bitter in secondary and will be brewing a big Rye IPA. If they don't suck, I'll make sure you get some.

I think the term is enabler.
A very silly place... http://yarnzombie.net/Travis/

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

Wow, I just read my post again... I didn't think I was that drunk but I guess, or at least hope, that I was because I couldn't understand what the hell I was saying... but you all got it.

Push, remember, the first one is always free...

And how exaclty does PUSH get the first beer? Was HE the one who saved you ten smackers? Yeah, you really just got lucky - I was helping hte office team out by processing orders and just happened to come across that. It never hurts to ask, eh? It won't ever happen again, because I am SOOOOO above that kind of work. Seriously, thanks to everyone who sends in the TBN love. And thanks for supporting both TBN and moreBeer. Flufha to us all!
