Hey,

Well, as a DOTW (Drunk Of The Week) caller who got a little out of hand on the air, I will say that I personally felt a little embarassed about it on Monday after the show when I woke with a killer hang over. But, I really agree with J that this is an ADULT show!! Just my opinion, but my 1 year old son will not be listening to the show when he gets to the age that he is old enough to repeat things because their is some adult language at times(Not to mention the show is Daddy's time to himself). But that is the way I was raised, so I have NO problem sensoring my childs entertainment mediums until I think he is old enough to make good judgement for himself. I certainly hope the FCC keeps it ass out of interenet radio, but I am sure that it will eventually start telling us what we can and can't say on interenet radio. Just a side note, the satellite stations swear all the time.

But, all in all I will state that I appreciate your opinion Rich, even if I don't necessary agree with it.

I also agree that this is an adult show and moderate swearing really is not a big deal. If there was some eight year old who was tuning in to a show that teaches him how to make beer, i think a little profanity would be the least of his parents worries.

Brewcaster J wrote:So here's the deal with profanity on our show. Overall, it's an adult show with adult content (except of course for when Lufah or Krotch call in because they are both 8 year old's trapped in adult bodies). I prefer not to censor it for the most part because some things that are absolutely hilarious simply require a little profanity.

That being said, we try to keep a handle on ourselves for the most part. Nobedy wants to hear a broadcaster dropping F-bombs for 3 hours straight...unless of course you're Richard fucking Prior (hilarious), but he's dead(RIP), so fuck that.

So, we are fully aware, as Rich pointed out everyone should be, that Sunday can certainly be a family day and we try to broadcast accordingly. But since it is an adult show, a little profanity needs to be tolerated (sometimes it's just necessary in the course of a 3 hour conversation with the likes of me and Dr. Scot in the room), but I think we've (and our listeners) have done a good job of not going overboard.

With very very few exceptions, you have all been very cool and even when calling drunk, I think it has worked out just fine. I was merely a little sensitive this week beacause our guests kids were in the studio. But Gino did not care one bit, and even offered his kids the headphones to hear the Hot Nuts song...which is not vulgar, but damned funny.

So no worries all.
Justin

ps. F somebody who hasn't been in awhile.

I agree it's a good thing to keep it to a minimum but the one thing I feel that just can't go without mention is Justin's avatar! Now that just VULGER! That poor little bastard must have had a pack o lunchmeat in his pocket cause by the looks of things he doesn't have any of those either. Tip of the day 'Don't dance with a fat hungry women.' you can see what'll happen if you do! When I see one THAT big I just say NO.

As an amendment to this post, guy's, that was funny I wasn't offering any disresprect to Justin! I hope noone saw it as that
