Everything I've seen to date folks dump a printout from Pro Mash (or wahtever) and post that. Or is it just easier that way to load recipes manually? Just thought it would be cool to be able to import the 80 recipes from BCS or other places.

That's not likely. Jamil has said that he doesn't do partigyle batches, b/c the second runnings beers don't meet his standards for quality. In my experience, he's right.

To digress... then you're not doing the parti-gyle correctly. If you make, say, a 10 gallon recipe of a moderate gravity, you'll be drawing off ~10 gallons of wort... whether that is all into one pot, or split between two with the first 5 in one, and second 5 in another, you still have everything you would have already had keeping them together. I've done over a dozen so far, both 10 gallon-2 way splits, and 15 gallon-3 way splits, all producing great beers so far... we'll see how my latest attempt using rye came out... I know my usually good efficiency was shot to hell last time (~65% instead of 75%).

Anyways... I would seriously doubt any clone recipes would be parti-gyle anyway... just wanted to say that parti-gyles are definitely a viable way to brew... just sayin' :asshat:

Maybe I meant it for Brew Strong, not the Clone Show. I was just thinking of ways to brew more and get even more beer out of it. Like doing 5 gallons of BW and then a Mild or Pale Ale with the second runnings. I batch sparge.
