I'd listen live to the Jamil show if it was on (all times Pacific):

Jamil, I Love the show and I try to listen live at work, but unfortunately the show has second priority to our customers so I have to listen to the archives to hear what I missed. I also listen to the Archives because I want to absorb as much as I can and they also provide me great listening pleasure during a brew session. I agree with everyone about live interaction adding another dimension to the shows, yet I would not want to see the show turn into a grab ass show like Lunch Meet because the information you are providing in this show format is very valuable information and need not be tainted. I have brewed several of your recipes using the show as my guide. KrOtChRoTT has a good point about moving the show to the evenings and I would much rather listen to the Pope Jamil show than watch TV. Regardless of the time you choose I will try to listen live and will always listen to the archives.

I'd like to listen live, but I have to be careful what I download here...

Does iTunes work for you?

Yes that is what I use at home, but I am not loading that into my work PC

i voted for keeping it where it is because it's about the only time i'd get to listen live, but whenever it is i'll keep listening to the archives if i can't join in live. keep up the good work jamil! long brew the pope.

I think you would get more live listernship if you aired the show at 12pm EST any day of the week. It would be much easier for me here in Boston to tune you in at work during lunch than 1pm. Since that means an early morning for you, how about 5pm EST any weekday. Most of us are probably still at work and it would be easier in my case to dial in after the bulk of the work day has gone by.

2:00 PM Pacific? That might work too.
I hope my post helped in some way. If not, please feel free to contact me.

I for one cannot listen to the live show at work. All streaming brodcasts are blocked. This effectivly stops me from listening live. I would suggest any evening at 6-7PM Pacific time. That will allow everyone to be without work restrictions.

I listen via download, usually at work.

I would also suggest that the recipes be posted prior to the show, to give the listener something to follow during the broadcast. If necessary they could always be modified after. That might prompt more why did you do this questions.

If there is one thing this thread has determined, it is that we all work way to hard.

As for my listening habits, Monday's are always a bit busy for me so later in the week might be better. Truth is, I love listening on the train so i doubt i'll ever stop getting the podcasts, but a move might allow me to catch it live more often.

In the end...whenever it is on, thanks for the killer content.
