I love the recipes but.....I do not see any versions for the AG handicapped - that is the extract brewer. I know that in every show Jamil mentions extracts but the quantities are not definite and depending who you ask, each person has a slightly different conversion. Have merci and help us, please!!!!

Well I converted it from allgrain to extract but I changed the boil size to 3 gallon and adjusted the hop schedule it is close except a partial extract adition will be need to get the color right. So take a look at this. Just my shot at converting it for u.

Fred has been after me to convert them to extract, which I'll do eventually. It is just a really busy time for me right now. Couple more weeks and I should have some free time again.

11 pounds of LME is way too for a 3 gal APA, 1,156 is a beer of epic size, a monster Barleywine size, with 15-16%abv way to big for an APA.

You have the right idea, take Jamil's numbers, or the numbers from the BJCP style guide and use these as you are adding your extract.

Note that Munich requires mashing, You might try a bit of aromatic instead.
