Tell me about your computer speakers

I'm running an older Cambridge Soundworks satellite system to listen to music (I'm not a gamer) and am ready to upgrade. What do you use?

My computer is a Mac Mini and the only thing I hate about it are the speakers. Stupid internal speaker system that isn't loud enough so I have to listen to the podcasts with earphones. No provision for external speakers.

If you take what I post here literally, you're retarded. I'm here to fuck around, have a good time, and learn about beer. You mean nothing to me and I mean nothing to you.

I'm using the same set of Altec Lansing AVS200 speakers I've had for years. Not the greatest but do sound great. I used to just run a patch cord to my stereo receiver and that worked great too.

Klipsch Promedia 2.1. Good sound for the price. Not as good as a real stereo.

I have had the same harmon/kardon speaker and subwoofer set up for the last ten years (on 3 different computers), and have been generally pleased with it. Not sure what they have on the market currently though.

The screen/mesh thing on the left speaker is a bit loose and will buzz a bit if it's not wrapped in a rubber band, but other than that, no complaints.

I just bought a new PC from Dell that included Bose Companion 2 Series II speakers. Nice sound but nothing special. They can get loud though.

I got my computer speakers from Sam's Club, of which I'm a member. Which is weird, because we never have meetings, elect officers, or any of that shit.
