I haven't planted anything yet, but I DEFINITELY will do so. Justin and I started the whole green thumb thing two years ago......so GOOD...

Anyways, I don't know nothing about planting, I still will go for it.

On my list will be:
Lettuce (some mixed greens stuff, I pick the semen according the the looks of the package, so don't ask me for a name)
Tomatos (for good Italian tomato sauce) (is there more than one kind...if so, anything Italian will do)
Potatoes (I am German!!!)
Strawberries (good for drinkers!!!)
Zucchini
Pepper (do they evern grow in CA????)
and whatever justin wants....

I think the word you are looking for is SEED not Semen, unless you have something to tell us. LOL! I'm sure it is a translation issue.

This year....
Strawberries
HOPS
HOT peppers (Jalapinos, chile, etc.)
Pumpkins
Cucumbers
Tomatoes
perhaps some lettuce
Rasberries

Tomatoes (roma and better boy)
Zuchinni
Eggplant
String beans

Sorry, I did not mention any perenials or herbs or fruit. We also grow:

-blueberries
-blackberries
-grapes (merlot, muscadine, nebbiolo. about 1/2 acre)
-lemon balm
-peppermint
-spearmint
-cilantro
-sage
-sweet marjoram
-triple curled parsley
-english thyme
-oregano (this is a weed I must constantly thin)
-cousin (just joking, I don't use drugs)

My family and I are country folk and utilize our land to the fullest. Even though I am a Information Technology Slut by trade, one of my dreams for retirement is to live as a homesteader.
