There is a setting in the forum software that allows only registered people to post messages. If you set that, it would keep people from posting under Guest by accident and then posting again with "Crap, that was me."

People can still read all the messages without registering.

What say you? If it is a matter of knowledge, I'd be happy to walk someone through it or make me an Admin for a day and I'll make the changes myself.
I hope my post helped in some way. If not, please feel free to contact me.

Yea... I set this on my forums with my club... Only registered members can post. This ended the guest post, and many, MANY hassles...

My admin has told me that he has made that change 5 times now, and I tell him guests still post. So either their is some bug that keeps it from working or it has not been set properly. Either way, give it a go Jamil...I've been wanting it set that way for 2 months now. Consider yourself adminerized.

Hey Jamil,

While your at it you may want to set the registration so that bots can't register. I think it a visual letter/number code that the bots can't see.

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.
