Google [Bot]???

I've seen "Google [Bot]" and "Yahoo [Bot]" online as "members". What are they?

If they truely are members, they should have the courtesy to post in the mew members thread... I'm just sayin'

That's exactly what they are, spiders scraping content for the search engines. They are a necessary evil. They've always been here, just invisible until now.

An automated script that search engines use to pull content from non-static pages like these forums. It means I can go to google.com, search for "thirsty mallard bn army" and get your postings. Try it! It's fun!
