Definitely a few surprises there...

1) Magic Hat, Alaskan, Abita - bigger than Stone
2) Magic Hat, Alaskan - bigger than Anchor

Not really, Anchor has its brewery and has brewed pretty much to capacity for a while without a desire to expand much further.

Seeing Odell at 33 is surprising. They seem much smaller than that, especially with their small 5 state distribution area.

Woo Spoetzl Brewing! Glad to see Shiner beers up there.

Say what you will about Shiner Bock, but at least I can find it in any bar in Texas (which is much better than a BMC). Not to mention the other beers in the Shiner lineup. Their kolsch is great and their new Shiner 99 (a Munich Helles) is amazing!

Sorry dude... never gave it up for the Shiner Bock... I think their Hefe is pretty decent, tho.

When I think top I do NOT think of it in terms of sales volume!

In Va you can get Magic Hat at any gas station... but Bells you need to go to a beer store ;)

Alaskan is actually down 2 spots from last year too (Anchor is down 1 and Stone is up 4.). They're a pretty big company though distributing to Airlines and whatnot... Even though I'm local I can't say I'm the biggest fan of their beer other than their Smoked Porter and Stout, but I've been thinking about applying for a job.
