wood aging books

Fri Jul 12, 2013 6:50 pm

I am very interested in wood aging, cooperage and the science behind it.

My problem is, I can´t really find a good source of information on it. Meaning books. I read articles here and there but there´s nothing definitive on the subject. Does anyone any other source of information?

Maybe I´ll have to jump into the wine world for that, right?

Any suggestions? Any book recommendations?

I recently listened to an ACS Webinar on wood aging and it´s very good. Here´s the link:

It's pretty easy, just don't leave the books on oak too long. :D Sorry, that's all I've got this morning.
