If the email was just the initial "Welcome to the BJCP" email, that is different from passing the exam, isn't it B'Dawg?
I got that email and my scores/new judge packet followed a month/month and a half later.
Correct me if I am wrong, but even Apprentice judges that don't pass get that email. I'm not trying to piss on a parade here, I'd like clarification for the future for our next club administered exam, so I can relay valid info.
You are correct that email is different. Anyone that takes the exam gets a welcome to the BJCP email with your BJCP ID on it. From what I can tell (and I'm probably wrong), it seems like after the first grader finishes the info is passed on and that is when the email is generated. Then it goes onto another grader or maybe the administrator for review.
After I judge this weekend I'll have enough points to be national and then I'll start getting into helping grade exams.
What sharkguy05 is saying is that he emailed the judging coordinator and they confirmed that grading was completed and he passed. Now it just takes a bit of time before the data gets passed along and entered into the system.
Everyone needs to remember that everyone is a volunteer and things don't always go as quick as you would like. My first exam took almost 10 or 11 months to get results back, but something slipped through the cracks there.
