How much homebrew are you allowed to move out of state

Mon Jan 16, 2012 6:40 pm

Basically I live in CT and will move to FL, i have 4 carboys, a 9gal pot a 15.5 g keggle, 3- 6.5 carboys, 1 5 g and 1- 3g plus filled and empty bottles, plus the beers in my cellar, plus 2 corny kegs that might be empty or not at the time of moving.

legals ramifications? any place I can find more info on this?
best way to do it?

Thanks

I dont want to have the issue of "contraband" homebrew

Check out the site above. You should be able to move the equipment with no problem. Each state has different rules on how much HB you can transport, but I noticed that CT says that HB be in sealed containers. As long as your route to FL avoids AL and MS you'll be fine.

If you take what I post here literally, you're retarded. I'm here to fuck around, have a good time, and learn about beer. You mean nothing to me and I mean nothing to you.
