First off, its a conversation, not an argument. At least on my end. Second, you are just not listening to a few people when they are saying that your example is invalid. And I just don't feel like being a part of a bull-headed discussion.

You don't have to be a part of whatever this is, but you should be able to stand by your arguments, or as you say conversations. For example, I don't see how you can support Magic Hat's 'protection' of the name they are using, while claiming that the same protection by the Beatles (or who ever owns that catalogue) isn't deserving of the same consideration.

Because the song is not a brand dude. It is not a trademark, it isn't a label. Thats about as clear as anyone can be. Sorry if you don't get it.

Maybe you should go back and listen to your own podcast with Lagunitas about their Frank Zappa series. Lyrics/songs are registered BTW. And do you honestly think if you named a beer Beatles Pale Ale, you aren't going to be hauled into court? What you said may be clear to you....
