Hey Brew Engineer,

I enetrred the Kickerbocker Contest as well and got one first and two seconds. I do not know how well they scored, but I guess I am out a few bucks you SOB! (LOL)

I am in Brookyn, so if you ever make it to NYC, look me up so I can buy you a round or six.

Hey Brotha J, do you want the payment in the form of another certificate at Trader's or do you just want singles for the strippers.
March on BN Army.
Cheers.

You suck! I juat saw the results and I didn't win anything. I'm a loser.

Congrats Fritz. We'll see how the score sheets turn out, but I place the blame squarely on Justin and Jamil's shoulders!!! :)

I'll still donate something, we'll see how much when I get the scores.

Hey Fritz- I was just checking out the results again this morning, surprised at how they combined styles in order to get approx. 19 beers in each flight ( I guess that's not unusual, but unfortunate, my lowly bitter went up against a Cream ale, an Altbier, and a strong scotch ale)

And noticed that one Fritz Fernow also won both the best of show, and the brewmaster's choice for his English IPA. I'm assuming that Fritz is you, so you deserve even more congratulations (and you have to pay up even more $$$, lol)

Congrats!

:)

I'm bummed though, almost all my beers got combined with some heavier hitter styles... Or maybe they just weren't very good!! :)

I do suck indeed, but every dog has his day and the beer gods just happned to me smiling my way this weekend.
The last competition I entered I scored a 21 & 23 for diffrent styled beers.
The score sheets that came back were filled with priceless information and are worth taking to heed.
Just keep brewing, it will come.
Cheers.

Our competition had to do the same thing but my Saffron Ordinary Bitter took 1st in the Spice/Vegetable/Specialty group and my Bière de Garde took 1st in the Belgian group. Donation on the way. Unfortunately they both only took honorable mention in the Best of Show round.

Once I get the scoresheets back on the other five, I may have more to ante up.

Thanks BN.

The competition results have been posted and I actually got two 2nd place ribbons too for my Oatmeal Pale Ale and my Double IPA. Guess I'm on the hook for another donation.
