Hasn't been picked up by the local media yet. We're all waiting for more details from the brewer in question. He's free on bail right now, finding a lawyer and waiting to see what he's been formally charged with. Since he was busted in a dry county, he could be looking at felony charges. We're hoping this is an isolated incident of someone having it in for this poor guy and turning him in to the local Sheriff and not the beginning of a new campaign against homebrewers. Seeing as how we're about to elect an anti-alcohol Governor, it's unlikely that we'll have any success changing the law for the next 4 years. That's all from Talibama.

Man that's crazy! We need someone to find some pics of Alabama politicians with :crazybitch: .

That might change some laws, no one wants that info out there.

This might be a long shot, but has he contacted the AHA? I don't know what they can do, but they can put out some press releases.

I wish there was something the BN Army could do to help this guy out. What a travesty...

It's really scary. If they took all of his stuff they got a lot stuff. If I remember correctly he had a 20 gal system that was completely automated.

I just want to brew my own beer and share some with like minded people.

Some pics of what they took

He had a lot of cash invested in that gear. Lawyer friend of mine says there's virtually zero chance he'll get any of it back. Spotless record and two tours in Iraq. I'm so pissed.
