The expectation is that with getting your recipient this early that you can get on it and get it shipped soon, avoiding the worst of the holiday crush. Ideally, everyone will have shipped and received by the new year. Once you have shipped, let me know, either here or through PM, and once you've received, let me know through either here or through PM. Once your package has received, your name gets added to the Nice List for next year. If you go AWOL and your person never gets beer, you go on the Naughty List and I recite your name every night before I go to bed.

If you don't have much homebrew, or would otherwise like to supplement your shipment with some commercial brews, I would suggest using Seek-a-Brew to compare your state to theirs in order to pick beers that they can't get. Somewhat less exciting to get a beer shipped to you that you can pick up around the corner. To that end, I'll be matching people to BNers in other states so that if you do ship commercial, there's a bit more of a chance to be able to send something they can't get, or can't get frequently. Also, some states have weird %ABV limits, so even if Seek-a-Brew shows that a brewery delivers there, they might not get everything.
