Spider is just doing a bad job, there are no instructions anywhere and it's almost impossible to figure it out on your own. How do I PM? Why can't I try and sell people shit? Am I not supposed to include pubes with my beer?

I'm amazed it's gone on this many years tbh. :asshat:

Hmm, perfect SS candidate. Mailing out bottles in June, I suppose?

Not if you prioritize correctly

No, no, not when it comes to stuff like this, I'd hate to get labeled as that guy. When it comes to trading I try to ship the next day, two or three if there's a weekend involved. I enjoy the giving aspect of stuff like this and try to surprise people with a good offering. I'm a giver:)

You're still talking about the porn, aren't you? I'm a same day shipper... and always surprise people with a good 'offering'.

Another newbie trying to get in on the goods. I messaged spiderwrangler and offered up my firstborn as collateral. Hopefully that's all he requires.

I was thinking about sending one 22oz of Hibiscus Red Ale, one 22oz of my very first attempt at a Mild and one 22oz of some Stout which is what I brew most of, but I don't think I should send the Mild, it was my first try at it and while it tastes great flavor wise it is lacking in mouth hole feel, feels kinda watery and thin in the mouth hole, great head retention though.

Those low gravity beers are tuff, how do you get enough body with a starting gravity of 1.032 and final of 1.009 anyhow?

I have a few days to decide though. I shall meditate on it till then.

What was your Mash in temperature? You could raise it a little higher to raise some of those complex sugar chains giving you a little more body, I believe. Also an addition of a little more crystal malt can give you a little more body in the middle mouth feel I think.

I did mash pretty low 149, I wanted to ferment out fairly low and it did at 1.009 but I am going to take your advice and up the cryzzle and raise the mash temp to about 153ish.

I don't think I should send this one for the Secret Santa though, the mouth hole feel is more watery than my jizz and believe you me chief my jizz is pretty damned watery.

Can always supplement with local commercial beers you enjoy... I may only have one beer that I feel is worth my $ to ship, so may be tucking some locals into the box too.
