Date Beer

Wed Jun 15, 2005 4:38 pm

I typically do all grain, but I dedcided to try doing a beer with date syrup in the boil. I was very skeptical about the results, but went ahead and tryed it anyway. I used light dry malt extract and date syrup. Hops I used Columbus and willamette for about 35 IBUs. An OG of 1.060. I used CL-50 yeast
I highly recommend this if your looking for something different but still damn tasty.
