Each bottle tasting a bit different...

Fri Dec 07, 2007 10:46 pm

As my current batch ages I put a few bottles in the fridge each day. After a few days in the fridge, I will drink each bottle poured into a pint glass. All of the beer so far has tasted good and close to one another. However, this current bottle I grabbed tastes a bit off. With home brewing, it is hard to recreate the conditions present with every bottle to maintain consistency. Does anyone notice that some bottles from the same batch may taste different than others? I think this may be from the end of my bottling session as the spigot began to clog with sediment and my bottling got sloppier.

Never mind... I realized that eating three dill pickles between beers makes the next one taste weird.

Gee... imagine that.

Bub, no gay pickle = penis jokes.
