Mon Mar 12, 2007 7:26 am

i come home and i got 2 pages of posts to look at.....you guys were busy...my goodness...
oh well we still had fun being gone....even took mr h to the homebrew pro shop in olathe, KS i was hoping that place would be bigger than what it was but NOPE just a small shop and mr h didn't even like it cuz they didn't even have anything that he was looking for so it seems like it was a waste of our time
i start my new job next monday i'm kinda excited but nervous...lol i dont know what to expect and trying to get day care is really hard UGH more of a stress than what i want right now !! LMAO oh well at least my paperwork for srs is all turned in and sorted out just waiting to hear back how much they will help us so we'll see

I used to shop at the Homebrew Pro Shoppe. I liked it, but I wasn't a hard core brewer back then. Charlie was a good guy though and helped me get started. It seemed that he was moving more toward wine though. Still better than the other shop in KC for customer service, at least from my experience and others.

Are you talking about the lady at the Homebrew Shoppe or the other shop in town? If you are talking about the Homebrew Shoppe it could be the same girl that started when i was going there, she was Asian, and yes she knew nothing as was never helpful. If you are talking about the other place, then you know what I was talking about.

We looked for daycare for 10 months before we found something. Then, 1 1/2 weeks into it my wife gets a call from the director saying we need to find a new place because our kid isn't adapting quick enough. WTF? She's 16 months old and had been at home with dad (enough to screw up anyone) the whole time. Luckily we convinced the lady to be a little more patient.

I was, however, proud of my kid. It took me until high school to get kicked out.
